RECREATIONAL
Prime FC Recreational Academy Program is open to boys and girls of all ages. This program offers fun and excitement to children in a team format, while supporting a healthy and active lifestyle.
We encourage them to play freely and to enhance basic skills in a supportive atmosphere.
Our coaching staff take a long-term approach to player development and to assist the players to develop the foundation and fundamental skills required to succeed in the level they aspire to.
Players will be continously monitored and assessed and those players who excel and show greater commitment to improve, will have an opportunity to participate in the Pre-Academy Training Program, which is designed to bridge the Recreational players to the Development Academy stream.
The program is aligned with Ontario Soccer’s Long Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines.
IT IS DESIGNED TO:
- promote fun
- develop physical literacy skills
- allow players to become more comfortable on the field
- promote a healthy and active life style while working together as a team and forming friendships
THIS PROGRAM IS FOR:
- 5 years and older
- one hour session each week led by a licensed coach
- 30 minute skill session and a 30 minute small sided game
- uniform kit (jersey, shorts and socks) will be provided
